Now that AA&S 2020 is going Virtual, what do I need to know?

Below are some tips to help you navigate AA&S 2020 Virtual.


Virtual Attendee Information

  • You MUST be Registered in order to access the Conference App or the Web App
  • Registration will Close on Friday, August 21, 2020
  • After you Register for the AA&S Conference, please allow us 24 hours to process and add your information to the approved list for the App
  • Attendees MUST use the email they registered with to create an account, to access the Conference App or the Web App Version
  • All content will be through the Conference App or the Web App
  • Live presentations will be streamed through Microsoft Teams
  • All times listed on the website and app are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
  • Attendees can network with attendees, speakers and sponsors through the App
  • View & connect with other attendees, under the attendee link in the app, until September18


UTC Events Conference App Information

  • Click Here to Download/Access the Conference App
  • Attendees MUST use the email they registered with to create an account, to access the Conference App or the Web App Version
  • For Live/Recorded Sessions we recommend clicking on the "Access the Web App" link
  • Create your own Agenda by clicking + to the sessions you want to see
  • Click on a Presentation for details to see the Live Event Link in the description
  • Live presentations will be streamed through Microsoft Teams
  • All times listed on the website and app are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
  • Attendees can network with attendees, speakers and sponsors through the App


Virtual Presentations

  • Best Viewed on a computer or tablet
  • For Live/Recorded Sessions, we recommend clicking on the "Access the Web App" link
  • Live presentations will be streamed through Microsoft Teams
  • Q&A will be available during the live event
  • Video Recordings will be posted to the App, after the live event is over
  • Users will be able to switch between sessions at any time
  • All times listed on the website and app are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
  • Proceedings will be posted to the website, after the conference (Link Here)


Virtual Trivia Night (Tuesday Night)

  • Join us for the Live Trivia Night on Tuesday from 5-6 PM (EDT):
  • Trivia Night Topic will be "General Knowledge" and cover a range of categories
  • Log in to the event 15 minutes early, to join a team and get ready to play
  • This event is hosted by Sporcle, and will be using Zoom


Virtual Training Courses

  • To Receive a Certificate for Training, please do one of the following:
    - Select the training courses you wish to attend at the time of registration
    - Create a profile on the app prior to attending a training course
  • Q&A will be available during the live event


Speaker/Presenter Information

  • A Microsoft Teams Account is required to present live
  • There will be a "Dry Run" to test each speaker set up and configuration
    - Details to be emailed soon to each speaker
  • You may send a pre-recorded video of your presentation for any reason:
    - You'll be in a time zone that is unfavorable for giving a live presentation
    - Conflicting schedules for the live event
    - Connection issues arise during the dry run & testing phase
    - Unable to create a Microsoft Teams Account
